

MOOD RING
A multi-level 70s-themed bar and nightclub where each floor represents a different mood. It offers a retro nightlife experience inspired by the music, style, and culture of the 1970s. Mood Ring is a place for people to connect, dance, and enjoy a night out rooted in a past era but designed for today’s crowd.

BRANDING DIRECTION
This mood board expresses the authentic 70s look I was going for in my logo design. Showing muted yet colorful pallets, mixed typography with big personality, and lots of shapes creating movement. I wanted to incorporate all of these elements while keeping it appealing to the modern age youth.
SKETCHES
I focused on showing the three different floors or moods of the nightclub while keeping in mind the inspiration from the mood board.



DRAFTS
For my digital drafts I moved forward with the simpler sketches to ensure that the logo was modern despite the 70s theme. It also makes for a better sizable and recognizable logo.

FINAL LOGO VARIATIONS
The final design was chosen because it has a lot of meaning and perfectly showcases the 70s era with a modern twist. The overlapping circles physically represent colorful club lights and the three different floors of the bar. They emotionally symbolize the moods of each floor and the connection between people that Mood Ring’s atmosphere facilitates.


BRAND BOOK
I continued the style of the logo to create a brand book for Mood Ring. Informing the client in a digestible way how and when to use the logo. It also includes company fonts and colors ensuring brand consistency.
